Spartan Junior Race

Check out the JUNIOR SPARTAN RACE for 2015! Junior Spartans ages 4-13 RUN, JUMP, CLIMB and CRAWL their way along courses designed to offer the appropriate level of challenge for their age category. Every racer receives a HEADBAND, T-SHIRT and MEDAL.

Event Summary

RACE DATE: Saturday May 23rd, 2015
START TIME: Elite heat at 9AM
DISTANCE: 5+km race. Average race times are 30 minutes to 1 hour. Timing chips are used for accuracy.
WAVES: Heats of up to 300 people start every half hour from 9AM to 4:30PM. The 9AM Elite heat is for competitive racers.
REGISTRATION: Every racer must present a signed Waiver form and valid photo ID to race. No exceptions.
AGES: 14 years and older. Racers under 18 years of age must present a Waiver form that has been completed and signed by their parent or legal guardian as well as a valid photo ID.
TEAM PRICING: $2.50 discount per person for teams of 4 or more. $5.00 discount per person for teams of 10 or more. Additional discounts available for teams of 25 or more. Contact for more information.
FIRST AID: One station in the village manned by multiple medics. Ambulance service on speed dial. Be sure to bring extra water if you are susceptible to dehydration.
FINISH: Every competitor receives a medal and a Spartan t-shirt.
PARKING: $10 per car (CASH). Collected onsite at parking location. Do not park on roads or in unauthorized areas. If you will be checking a bag be sure to collect your plastic Spartan bag drop bag from parking attendant.
BAG DROP: $2 per bag (CASH). Limit 1 bag per racer. Your Bag Drop items must fit inside the plastic Spartan bag provided to you at parking. NO OTHER BAGS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT BAG DROP.
SPECTATORS: $15 per spectator (CASH) for Spartan Sprints and Supers. Spectator entrance for Spartan Beast is FREE. Spectator tickets may only be purchased at the event. Each Junior Racer may have one spectator accompany them at NO CHARGE. Spectators are subject to standard parking fees. Bring CASH, limited ATM/Credit Card services available.
