Event Summary

RACE DATE: Sunday, September 28th, 2014
START TIME: First heat at 8AM
DISTANCE: It's a 5km race, fastest time should be around 30 minutes. Longest times will be over 1 hour. We use Timing Chips for accuracy.
WAVES: Heats of up to 250 people will leave at the following times: 8:00AM, 8.30AM, 9AM, 9.30AM, 10AM, 10.30AM, 11AM 11.30AM. Enter the 8am “Elite” heat if you want to be as competitive as possible and race against the best.
AGES: All Ages (14+ years to race the adult race).
TEAM PRICING: 15% discount for teams of 10 people or more.
SPARTAN KIDS: Simply follow the regular registration process and add Spartan Kids entry tickets to your basket. Children must be 5-10 years old and tickets costs $20.
AID: One First Aid station at the end of the race with water, bandages and the Ambulance service on speed dial if need be! Carry extra hydration and fuel if you think you might bonk or pass out from dehydration.
FINISH: Every competitor receives a medal, Spartan t-shirt, scrapes and bruises, stories, stories and more stories!
SPECTATORS: Spectator Tickets are $0 for Sunday's event but all who enter the festival area must sign a waiver.

PLEASE NOTE: Coolers or barbeques are not allowed within the main area. Spectators are welcome (subject to the same parking fee). No dogs, alcohol, glass bottles or camping on site.

We are looking for result-orientated people with a sense of community who share our values of getting people off their couches and trying something new. Must be at least 16 years old and reside in this country.
