RACE DATE: Saturday, May 24th, 2014
START TIME: First heat at 9AM
DISTANCE: It's a 5km+ race, fastest time should be around 30 minutes. Longest times will be over 1 hour. We use Timing Chips for accuracy.
WAVES: Heats of up to 250 people will leave at the following times: 9AM, 9:30AM, 10AM, 10:30AM, 11AM, 11:30AM, 12PM, 12:30PM, 1:00PM, 1:30PM, 2:00PM, 2:30PM, 3:00PM, 3:30PM AND 4:00PM. Enter the 9am “Elite” heat if you want to be as competitive as possible and race against the best.
REGISTRATION: Every racer must present a valid photo ID to race. No ID = No Race, No Exceptions. This provides important information you will need on Race Day.
AGES: You must be at least 14 years old to race on the adult course. All racers under 18 years of age are required to obtain their parent or legal guardian’s signature on the Spartan Race liability waiver.
TEAM PRICING: $5 discount per person for teams of 4 or more people and a discount of $7.50 for teams of 10 or more people.
AID: One First Aid station near the end of the race with water, bandages and the Ambulance service on speed dial if need be! Carry extra hydration and fuel if you think you might bonk or pass out from dehydration.
FINISH: Every competitor receives a medal and a Spartan t-shirt.
PARKING: $10.00 per car (cash) fee is collected when you park onsite. Please don't park on the roads. This applies to anyone (spectators, racers, King Leonidas, etc.)
BAG DROP: $2.00 per bag (cash). Limit 1 bag per racer. BEFORE leaving your car, please make sure all items to be stored at Bag Drop fit inside the plastic Spartan Bag you will receive when you arrive at parking. NO OTHER BAGS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT BAG DROP.
SPECTATORS: Spectator tickets for Spartan Sprints and Supers are $15 (cash) and sold onsite only (limited Credit Card/ATM services are available). Spectator entrance for Spartan Beasts is FREE. Spectators are subject to the standard parking fee.
